Coast Broadband provides your internet connection, not email. We don't issue @coastbroadband.com.au mailboxes, so you won't get an email account when you join, and you don't need one from us to use your service.
What to use instead
A free, provider-independent email account works anywhere and stays with you no matter which internet provider you're on. Popular options:
- Gmail (google.com)
- Outlook / Hotmail (outlook.com)
- iCloud Mail (icloud.com)
Why this is better. An email address tied to an internet provider stops working if you ever switch. A free account like the ones above is yours to keep for good.
Switching from an old provider's email?
If you're moving from another provider and used their email address, set up a free account (above) and update your logins and contacts to the new address before your old service ends. Your old provider decides how long that mailbox stays active, so don't leave it to the last minute.
